How did this show slip in away from my memory? O.K. we won't answer that, but Wowza what a show! This is the set list I've pared down that works for me, but you may have different tastes.

Jam
Scarlet
Playin'
Jack
He's Gone>
USB
WRS>
Spanish Jam>
Eyes>
Slipknot>
China Doll
OMSN

Garcia is huge in this show, confidently steering the ship. Phil is right there, as is the Amazing Billy K. Bobby and Keith find there places in the groove nicely. Donna has an off day. There is some intense music here and some intensely beautiful music too. You can decide on the Gans source or Charlies. Cliff offers up a 100 points for this show in his review. Many others reviews are worth reading as well. Well worth your time.

Isn't that a wonderful little soundcheck jam? I mean, obviously the whole show is, but I swear, even the soundcheck ... you could set that up as your musical alarm clock and it would sure start out the day right. Schroeder and Snoopy Go to a Dead Show.

And oh, look! Here's the proof! Snoopy got on the bus early:

A magnificent show. I listened to it once last week but it surely deserves a repeat today. I love that opening jam, too.
The alarm clock thing is not a bad idea ...

I dig that it was in Fresno.
